The location of the restaurant is very beautiful: they have tables right next to the harbor/Ratzeburger See. The carrot-ginger soup was very good. The main courses (Currywurst / penne) weren’t very special. We wanted to pay with our debit card, but they said only German cards were accepted. We tried and our Dutch card worked too. We wonder if the owner has to pay extra when customers pay with their debit cards, so he doesn’t want customers to do so. But if so, he could just charge them (like they do in the Netherlands). The staff speaks English. You can order very nice little breads here for breakfast if you’re staying at camping “A beautiful view” right next to it.
